Monson, Town of

Monson was included in the area laid out in 1701 and named Brimfield. On April 25, 1760, Monson was made a district with local self-government. Monson was made a town with representation in the legislature on August 21, 1775. Monson activities include Flynt Park, the Bike Trail, Canoeing & Fishing, Cedar Swamp Conservation Area, and the Grand Army of the Republic Hall.
