Clinical psychologist and certified group psychotherapist Dr. Ruth Folchman, PsyD, CGP will explain how mindfulness is a capacity people all have, to be present and open to what is in direct experience, in the moment, rather than stuck in the past or worried about the future. The workshop will include mindfulness exercises. Dr. Folchman teaches classes in mindfulness and meditation in her private practice in Northampton, Massachusetts, and at the UMASS Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.
