Name: Independence Day Celebration
Date: July 6, 2019
Event Description:
This years activities and events are still in process, but we have an amazing lineup started. This will be our first year holding an annual car show, which promises to bring in some amazing vehicles from across the state! We will have some AMAZING craft vendors, and still have room for more! We have childrens hair bows and accessories, crocheted items, soaps, lotions, plants & succulents, bakery items and sooooo much more!! Lots of vicarious vittles will be offered...from Chicken BBQ, to carnival food, ice cream, sandwiches, strawberry shortcakes, kettle corn and MORE! We are holding the kids Parade of Wheels at 11, followed by our Grand Parade. The carnival is in town for the day, and we have a petting zoo lined up. We are hoping (hopping) to have bunny jumping demos during the day, as well as Les Sillimans miniature display. Howe Lumber will be providing 2 "Howe-to" classes for children, pre-registration will be required. The Historical Society will have the museum and railroad miniature room open as well. So much fun, all packed into one day. Dont forget about the amazing fireworks show at 9:30. Biggest and best in the area!
